I Municipio de Bojaya-Choco. Nature, like resistance, sprouts anew in the destroyed and abandoned police headquarters of the town, attacked by guerillas in 2000. Municipio de Segovia-Antioquia. The woods of “Machuca” and its rivers turned into hell for 80 residents of Segovia that died in the fire. This tragic loss of nature and of life, so often repeated, was in this case caused by an attack by the ELN guerillas Municipio de La Hormiga-Putumayo. On Tuesday, after the dynamite attack on the oil pipeline, the oil spill drowned the entire landscape. On Wednesday, the first rays of light hit caught raindrops. In 2001 these scenes around oil pipelines were repeated a Municipio de Orito-Putumayo. The current of water and oil flows fast after an attack on the transandean oil pipeline on the border with Ecuador. These oil spills cause serious environmental tragedies. Serrania de San Lucas-Boliviar. A guerlla from the ELN (the National Liberation Army) rests on the shores of the Santo Domingo river. Since 1986 this armed group has caused spills of millions of barrels of oil across Colombian rivers and forests. Tierralta-Cordoba. A group of AUC (United Self-defense Forces of Colombia) paramilitaries premare to march to the area where they will hold a dialogue with the government. These groups, working for drug traffickers and corrupt politicians, took more than Municipio De Bojaya-Choco. The marks left on the forest by confrontations between the armies of the paramilitaries and the guerillas symbolize the tragedy that happened in this town’s church, where a hundred civilians who were seeking refuge from the comb Municipio De Riosucio-Choco. The marks left by aerial bombs dropped by the Colombian army alongside action by paramilitary groups remain as proof of the confrontation with the FARC guerillas. This battle led to the displacement of nearly 10,000 inhabita Rio Atrato-Choco.
