Prix Pictet 2008 in Geneva

Following from the success of the exhibition of the Prix Pictet 2008 Commission at the Mall Galleries, London, in March 2009, Munem Wasif’s Salt Water Tears: Lives Left Behind in Satkhira, Bangladesh was shown at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices.
Following that exhibition, a selection of Munem Wasif's Commissioned images were shown at the Global Humanitarian Forum, a 2 day event held from 23-24 June 2009, in the Intercontinental Hotel, Geneva. The Forum comprised a programme of debates and interactive sessions covering more than 20 areas exploring the human face of climate change, and was designed by key partners from the private, public and non-profit sectors.
