Cette commande d’un montant de 25000 euros est octroyée à Munem Wasif l’un des photographes finalistes du Prix, pour suivre le projet «Chittagong Hill Tracts» (le réseau des collines) et qui bénéficie du soutien financier de Pictet & Cie.

31/10/2008 – Ivan Pictet, speaking at the award ceremony, announced that Munem Wasif, one of the photographers shortlisted for the Prix Pictet, will be awarded the commission to document WaterAid’s Chittagong Hill Tracts Project in Bangladesh which is supported by Pictet & Cie. The main award which includes a €50,000 cash prize was given to photographer Benoit Aquin. The Prix Pictet, named after the swiss bank which funds it, is in its first year, and aims to highlight issues of environmental sustainability.
