Further destinations for the Prix Pictet World Tour
We are delighted to announce that the Prix Pictet 2009 Earth exhibition is currently showing at the Moscow House of Photography (27 May – 27 June 2010), The exhibition will then tour to Galerie Caprice Horn, Berlin (30 June – 19 July 2010), Forma, Milan (10 October – 17 October 2010) and the Delegation Principado de Asturias, Madrid (28 October – 28 November 2010). So far the show has travelled to Paris, Thessaloniki, Dubai, and Eindhoven, and Dublin.
The 2009 edition of the prize has received extraordinary media attention and the tour is an important way of taking these powerful images to as wide an audience as possible. Thousands of people saw the 2009 shortlist exhibition at the Passage de Retz Gallery in Paris last October/November, and we are always very happy to discuss exhibition proposals from galleries and other organisations.
In addition to the exhibition of shortlisted photographs, the Prix Pictet Commission will also tour. Ed Kashi visited Madagascar in January 2010 and the resulting images were shown at a major exhibition at Diemar/Noble Photography, 20 April – 1 May 2010.
Further destinations for both exhibitions will be announced during the year.
