Munem Wasif Commission exhibition London, 5 February 2009 - Photographs by Munem Wasif revealing the daily impact of the scarcity of clean, safe water on the people of Bangladesh go on display for the first time from 9 March at the Mall Galleries, London. Wasif was one of eighteen leading international photographers shortlisted for the 2008 Prix Pictet.

Prix Pictet 2008 HK Photographs of the Chinese ‘dust bowl’, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and evidence of global warming in Antarctica were among the images shortlisted for the Prix Pictet 2008 – the first photography prize to focus on the issue of sustainability. A selection of the works from the prize will be on display at Exchange Square Central, Hong Kong from 12 March 2009.
