Marc-Olivier Wahler

Since February 2006 Marc-Olivier Wahler has been director of Palais de Tokyo, contemporary art museum in Paris. From 2000 to 2005, he ran the SI (Swiss Institute – Contemporary Art) in New York, and in 1994, he co-created the CAN (Centre d'art Neuchâtel)which he ran until 2000. Over fifteen years, he has organised around two hundred exhibitions, including Transfert (art in public space) in Bienne (Switzerland) in 2000, Liquid Sky at the Frac Bourgogne (France) in 2003, Extra, Space Boomerang and OK at the SI and OKAY at the Grey Art Gallery NYU in New York in 2005.
As an art critic, he writes regularly about contemporary art, as well as Mike Tyson, stealth bombers, Hells Angels, quantum and mutants.
