Ayperi Karabuda Ecer
Ayperi Karabuda Ecer (Turkey/Sweden)has wide experience of working with editorial production and markets, including as Vice President of Pictures at Reuters, Editor in Chief at Magnum Photos Paris and Bureau Chief for Sipa Press in New York. She is currently seconded for one year from Reuters as Editor in Chief of Sweden based, large non-profit project Picture Today Inspire Tomorrow at ADAY.org.
Ayperi chaired the World Press Photo Jury 2010 and nominated the ICP Infinity Award 2011. She was a teacher at the Joop Swart Masterclass and has shared her expertise with generations of photographers. At Reuters she introduced an innovative vision of news photography and initiated 3 Emmy award nominated multimedia essays.
