For the past 12 years, the Prix Pictet has participated in the opening ceremony of Les Rencontres d’Arles, scheduled to take place in the first week of July and regretfully, this year, postponed. To mark this event, and as we wait in anticipation for Prix Pictet Hope to resume its global tour, we invite you to explore the exhibition in full virtual reality.

The exhibition showcases the work of the 12 artists shortlisted for the eighth cycle of the prize, as shown at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in November 2019. It also features short, filmed interviews with each artist.

The winning series by Joana Choumali can be seen alongside shortlisted artists Shahidul Alam, Margaret Courtney-Clarke, Rena Effendi, Lucas Foglia, Janelle Lynch, Ross McDonnell, Gideon Mendel, Ivor Prickett, Robin Rhode, Awoiska van der Molen and Alexia Webster.
